Outlast 2  is an upcoming first-person survival horror video game developed and published by Red Barrels.
The game is to be released in April 25, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Play as Blake Langermann, a journalist and cameraman searching for his missing wife which dissappears after helicopter crash happened in Sonoran desert while investigating murder of Jane Doe, a young pregnant woman.
Blake now looking for his missing wife by traveling through village without connection to the outside society, where a sect that believes the end of days is upon us.

Outlast 2 Similar to the first Outlast with new characters and features.
The game set in the Sonoran desert at night, Langermann unable to fight and can only defend similar to the first Outlast.
He can hide in lockers, crouch, run, jump, walk, vault and climb just like the first game.
Not like the original game, Langermann has now more advanced camera with options like clearer footage, zoom, and an audio detection system – used to detect far footsteps and noises
